The Government is implementing the scheme of Vocationalisation of School
Education under the umbrella of ‘Samagra Shiksha - an integrated scheme for school
education’, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme. The scheme seeks to integrate vocational
education with general academic education with an aim to prepare educated,
employable and competitive human resources for various sectors of the economy and
the global market. The scheme covers Government schools and Government-aided
schools.

Beauty & Wellness
Training equips students with skills in basic depilation, manicure, pedicure, and basic facial care services. They also become proficient in safely administering skin treatments, ensuring correct usage and handling.

IT-ITES
Students are trained to utilize personal computers and relevant software for accurate data entry and management. They learn to input, update, and manage data in computer systems with a focus on accuracy and completeness.

Plumbing
Training covers organizing tools, installation, and repair of plumbing fittings and fixtures. Students learn to clear work areas, cut and bend pipes to specified dimensions, and support plumbers with various tasks.

Construction
Students are trained in basic construction operations, including handling hand and power tools for masonry work. They assist in tasks such as tiling, stone laying, concrete masonry, brick/block work, door and window fixing, and plastering.

Apparel

Telecom
Training enables students to efficiently splice optical fiber cables and support in optical fiber installation. They also conduct fiber testing using OTDR and power meter equipment.

BFSI
Trainees are responsible for selling microloans, micro-savings, micro-insurance, and micro-pensions to financially excluded individuals. This involves identifying potential customer groups, evaluating locations, sourcing customers, assisting in applications, loan disbursement, and fee collection.

Agriculture
Students are skilled in operating machinery for farming processes such as tilling, planting seeds, fertilizing, spraying, dusting, and harvesting crops. They also perform periodic maintenance and consider factors like soil type, rainfall, and climate impact.

Job fair
Valeur Fabtex organizes a job fair for 12th-grade vocational students at SV Rohini Sec 3. The event sees participation from 52 students and receives appreciation from the DDE Zone and the schools principal.
